Zen doodling in colour

I attended my second week of the Watercolour Group. This week I attempted a mandala design from my Zen Doodling book, and coloured it with Sharpie markers. I used student grade 300 series Strathmore 140 pound watercolour paper, working on the rough side of the paper. I am quite pleased with the result, given what a raw beginner I am at all this.

My first mandala.
