December Images

The weather has been glorious for the past few days: clear and sunny and cold.

Big Leaf Maple leaves are waiting to be raked up into piles.

Look at the lovely full moon rising to the left of Mount Washington. This was at about 8:30 this morning.

Hellebore Augustifolius is getting ready to bloom early in the new year.

Primula are also showing new growth.

Bulb shoots through the leaves.

Viburnum bodnantense  'Pink Dawn' blooms in December.

This rhododendron is called 'Christmas Cheer' but it blooms in the early spring in our climate.

Our neighbour's horse is interested in my photo taking activity.
