Julie and I had our annual summer adventure outing on July 5. This year we hiked around Newcastle Island. A lovely day, the first day of real summer that we have had here. The wild flowers were blooming in a Garry Oak meadow.
Resting in the shade at the end of the hike, waiting for the ferry back off the island.
